If Wet was set up when we found ourselves faced with yet another night of mediocre blues covers in a local pub. We wanted something different in our locality and the only option seemed to be to do it ourselves. We are delighted with how things developed and have gone on to programme and present over 20 events, featuring the work of over 50 artists.
In addition to the invited artist presentations, we host Run What Ya Brung sessions to provide an opportunity for audience members to present their latest work / sonic experiments to our audience.

Oh yeah, the name! If Wet started as an event in Sam’s village hall. At the bottom of posters for village fêtes, you will often see the words “If Wet…in the village hall”.
